Technology
Information technology has
become an indispensable tool for the Iowa Judicial Branch. Not only has it
enhanced productivity and improved public service, but it has helped the courts
keep pace with its growing work load.
Since 1997, all ninety-nine
clerk of court offices, all district court administrative offices and the State
Court Administrator's office have been automated and linked to a statewide
computer network. That system is known as the Iowa Court Information Network or
ICIS.
