Video recordings of oral arguments before the Iowa Supreme Court are available through the links listed monthly.  Recordings are posted and archived on this site approximately two weeks after the argument.  Recordings are listed in chronological order of the arguments, with the most recent arguments at the top of the list. 

  

You will need broadband (cable/dsl) connection to play the videos.  For optimal viewing use Windows Media Player, Version 9 or later.  Links on this page go to files that may be unusable if you do not have the proper programs installed on your computer. Visit the Site Tools and Accessibility page for any plug-ins or programs your may need.  

  

Please read this note about the quality of the picture:  All of the recordings have a grainy appearance and "jumpiness" when the camera moves from one speaker to another.  These imperfections are attributable to our current camera system, not the website or network connection.  We hope to make improvements in the future, but for the present we appreciate your patience.
