Commission Names Nominees for Iowa Court of Appeals

Des Moines, March 30, 2010— The State Judicial Nominating Commission selected the following nominees for the vacancy on the Iowa Court of Appeals created by the retirement of Judge Robert Mahan.

District Judge (appointed 2002) - Eighth Judicial District

J.D., 1982, Drake University

Mary E. Tabor, Des Moines, Age 46

Assistant Attorney General

J.D., 1991, University of Iowa

In accordance with the Constitution of the State of Iowa, the governor has thirty days in which to make an appointment from the slate of nominees.
