General case description: Plaintiffs appealed a district court order entered pursuant to Iowa Code section 6A.4(2) (2007) condemning a strip of their property for an access route between defendants' landlocked property and a public road. Plaintiffs contended a different route was the "nearest feasible route" to defendants' land for purposes of the statute and the court erred in finding otherwise. The court of appeals affirmed. Plaintiffs seek further review.
