The City of Des Moines has closed East Court Avenue between East 7th Street and East 13th Street for reconstruction. The main entrance to the Iowa Judicial Branch Building at Dey Street is closed. Employees, parties, and visitors must approach the building, at 1111 East Court Avenue, from the east using East 14th Street and enter the parking lots from East 13th Street.

On Tuesday, April 21, the Iowa Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in Fairfield, Iowa. The proceedings will take place in the Fairfield High School auditorium, 605 E. Broadway Avenue. The oral arguments are open to the public and will begin at 7 p.m.
