Information in the eFile System is protected at the case level, event level, and document level.

Protecting Personal Information

You must protect birthdates, social security numbers, children's' names, bank information, and other information that could be used to steal a person's identity. This type of information is called "protected information." If your court filings must include protected information, you must submit a copy of the document that has the protected information removed or masked. This is called a redaction.
