The Iowa Judicial Branch has partnered with LawHelp Interactive to provide a free and easy to use program for preparing documents in certain court cases. An interactive interview fills the form automatically based on the user's answers.
The program can be used on any computer or smartphone. When finished, users are given instructions on how to print, sign, and file the forms with the court, and can save their answers for later use.
Iowa Interactive Court Forms are designed to improve access to justice for people who cannot or choose not to hire an attorney. The program provides helpful information in plain language and uses a question and answer format to prepare approved court forms.
