Directions to Judicial Branch Building
During East Court Avenue Road Construction
The City of Des Moines will close part of Court Avenue for reconstruction beginning March 30, 2026. For the first phase of the project, the main entrance to the Judicial Branch Building at Dey Street will be closed. Employees, parties, and visitors must approach the building from the east at East 14th Street and enter the parking lots at East 13th Street.
On the map below, East Court Avenue is closed west of East 13th Street and both Finkbine Street and Dey Street are closed south of Walnut Street (in red). East Court Avenue is open east of East 13th Street and East 14th Street is open (in blue).
