Defendants seek further review of the holding that plaintiff’s promissory estoppel claim was not barred because there was an express agreement between the parties relating to the pertinent subject matter, the holding that the test for promissory estoppel of McKee v. Isle of Capri, 864 N.W.2d 518 (Iowa 2015) was not applicable, and the application of Schoff v. Combined Ins. Co. of Am., 604 N.W.2d 43 (Iowa 1999), to the summary-judgment record in this case.
