Magistrate Joshua J. Walsh was re-appointed to serve as Sac County Magistrate in 2020 after serving as Magistrate from 2007-2018 in Buena Vista County. He earned his undergraduate degree in 2001 from the University of Northern Iowa and his law degree from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2004. Magistrate Walsh has been in a private law practice since 2004, and he has previously served as Assistant County Attorney in Buena Vista. He is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association. He is married with three children.
