Magistrate Lauver was appointed to serve Pocahontas County in 2025. She earned her undergraduate degree from UW-Platteville in 2016 and her Juris Doctorate and Certificate of Agricultural Law from Drake University Law School in 2019. Magistrate Lauver started as corporate counsel and has been in private practice in Lake City since 2020. She is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association and serves on the Agricultural Law Section Council. She actively farms with her husband and three children.
