Magistrate William Morrison, Mason City, was appointed to serve Cerro Gordo County in 2024. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa in 1986 and his law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1989. Magistrate Morrison has been in private practice in Mason City since 1989. He is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association. He is married with three children.
