Magistrate Cody Farrens, of Sioux City, was appointed in October of 2024. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and his law degree from the University of Iowa. He is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association, the Woodbury County Bar Association, and is licensed to practice in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.
