Works at Forsyth Law Firm,a general practice law firm in Estherville Iowa. Served as City Attorney for Estherville 2008-2013, Assistant Estherville city attorney 1988-2008. Also served as city attorney for Orleans Iowa Gruver Iowa and Dolliver Iowa. Served as board member and past president of Emmet County Handicapped Opportunities, Estherville Rotary Club, Emmet Realty Inc, and the ECHO-PLUS Foundation. Past board member of Iowa Volunteer Lawyers Project and several other boards for local organizations. Married with two children and three grandchildren.
