Judge Wicks was appointed as District Associate Judge in 2024. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska, Omaha, majoring in criminal justice and a minor in political science and speech communications. She received her law degree from Washburn University, School of Law in 2011. She served as a Woodbury County Magistrate from 2022 until her appointment. Prior to her appointment, she worked as an Assistant Woodbury County Attorney from February 2022-November 2022, and a Deputy County Attorney for Dakota County Nebraska from August 2012 -February 2022- October 2024. She is licensed to practice law in both Iowa and Nebraska.
Judge Wicks is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association, the Nebraska State Bar Association, and the Woodbury County Bar Association.
