Judge Ditsworth was appointed to the bench in November 2021. She received her undergraduate degree from Buena Vista University in 1999 and completed her Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law in 2003. Prior to her appointment to the bench, Judge Ditsworth worked in private practice. She is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association.
