Judge Ashley West-Joons, Missouri Valley, Iowa, was appointed to the bench in 2024. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa in 2007 and her law degree from Creighton University School of Law in 2010. Prior to her appointment to the bench, Judge West-Joons was the Harrison County Attorney from November 2023 through July 2024 and Assistant Harrison County Attorney October 2010 through October 2023. In addition to her position as a county attorney, she was in private practice at West Law Office from November 2023 through July 2024, and at Mumm Law Firm from October 2010 through October 2023, all in Missouri Valley, Iowa. She is a member of the Iowa State Bar Associate and the Harrison County Bar Association.
