Magistrate Lindsay E. Andersen was appointed to serve Pottawattamie County in 2013. He earned his degree in Criminal Justice at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1973 and Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law in 1990. Magistrate Andersen's previous professional experience includes retiring in 2007 as Captain of the Council Bluffs Police Department and also served as assistant attorney in Mills County. He is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association, Pottawattamie County Bar Association and Nebraska State Bar Association.
