Magistrate Scheinost was appointed to serve Pottawattamie County in August 2023. She graduated from Bellevue University in 2006 and Creighton University School of Law in 2009. She practiced in criminal defense, family and juvenile law from 2009 to 20010, was Assistant Mills County Attorney from 2010 to 2014; and Mills County Attorney from 2014 to 2016. She has practiced in criminal defense, family, juvenile, and civil law from 2016 to the present.
