Magistrate Robb D. Goedicke was appointed to serve Polk County in 2022. He earned his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University in 1990 and his law degree from Drake University Law School in 1997. Magistrate Goedicke served in Iowa Air National Guard as a Security Police Specialist and the United States Army Reserve as a Judge Advocate General before retiring as a Major in 2018. He is in private practice in West Des Moines. He is a member of the Iowa State and Polk County Bar Associations
