Magistrate Timothy J. Farmer, Perry, was appointed to serve Guthrie County in 2021. He earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Washington in 2007 and his law degree from The University of Iowa College of Law in 2015. Magistrate Farmer worked in human resources before law school and is currently in private practice in Perry, Iowa. He is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He is fluent in Spanish and is attempting to learn French. He is married with four children.
