Clinton Boddicker

Judge Boddicker, Keokuk, was appointed to the district court bench in December 2021.  Prior to that, he was appointed to the district associate bench in January 2018.  He received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History from the University of Northern Iowa in 1993 and his law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1996.  After graduation, he was in private practice in Keokuk and Cedar Rapids.  In 2008, he began work as Assistant Lee County Attorney, eventually being named full-time First Assistant Lee County Attorney in 2011.  He was elected Lee County Attorney in May of 2017 and served in that capacity until his appointment to the bench.  Judge Boddicker is a member of the Iowa Judges Association and the South Lee County Bar Association and a former member of the Iowa State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Iowa County Attorneys Association, and the National District Attorneys Association.  He is married and has two adult children.
