Magistrate Steven J. Westercamp, Farmington, was appointed to serve Van Buren County in 2010. He earned his bachelor's degree with distinction from Iowa State University in 1989 and received his law degree from Drake Law School with honors and Order of the Coif in 1995. He is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association and has been in private practice in Iowa since 1995 and in his hometown of Farmington since 1997. He is married with five children.
