In the Matter of Adopting Chapter 2 Criminal Case Expungement Rules (January 29, 2021)

Chief Justice Christensen has signed an order adopting new chapter 2 criminal case expungement rules and forms. These new rules and forms will become effective for expungement applications filed on or after July 1, 2021, subject to Legislative Council review as provided by Iowa Code section 602.4202.
