Samir M. Shams
v.
Sona Hassan
Samir M. Shams is seeking further review after the court of appeals reversed and remanded the district court’s judgment entered against Sona Hassan on claims of conversion, breach of fiduciary duty, and breach of oral contract. Hassan argued on appeal that the trial court erred in refusing to submit a proposed jury instruction on the statute-of-limitations affirmative defense. The court of appeals agreed with her and concluded she was entitled to submission of a jury instruction or interrogatory on the statute-of-limitations theory.
