Case No. 16-2178

State of Iowa
v.
Brett Calvin Hensley

Defendant seeks further review after the court of appeals affirmed the district court’s denial of his motion to obtain credit on his sentence for time spent in the Bridges of Iowa program while on probation for a burglary conviction. Defendant contends the court of appeals and district court erred by finding the Bridges of Iowa program did not qualify as “an alternate jail facility” or a “community correctional residential treatment facility” under Iowa Code section 907.3(3) for purposes of receiving credit for time served on his sentence.
