Case No. 17-1466

Todd Morris
v.
Steffes Group, Inc.

Todd Morris seeks further review of the court of appeals opinion that affirmed the district court’s granting of summary judgment in favor of Steffes Group, Inc. (Steffes). The court of appeals concluded that Iowa Code chapter 555A, which imposes numerous requirements on door-to-door sales, did not apply to Morris’s purchase of auction services from Steffes. Morris argues that Steffes’ sales representative personally solicited Morris at his residence to provide consignment services and the sale of his equipment; therefore, chapter 555A applies to this case.
