The defendant appeals from the district court’s order granting summary judgment in favor of the plaintiff in a foreclosure action concerning priority of mortgages. The defendant argues the district court erred in finding plaintiff’s mortgage secured all debts due to plaintiff in excess of the maximum obligation limit contained in the mortgage. The defendant further argues the district court erred in awarding default interest at eighteen percent.
