Case No. 22-0376

Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board
v.
Bonnie J. Heggen

The respondent contends the Grievance Commission’s recommended sanction of a six-month suspension is unwarranted and a public reprimand is the appropriate sanction in this case. In its cross-appeal, the complainant contends the Commission erred in finding Heggen did not violate Iowa Rules of Professional Conduct 32:1.5(a) and 32:8.4(b). The complainant also contends revocation is the appropriate sanction.
