State of Iowa
v.
Chad Dennis Vance
Chad Vance was granted discretionary review from a district court’s order affirming a magistrate’s extension of a no-contact order for an additional five years. Vance contends the magistrate lacked subject matter jurisdiction to extend the no-contact order. Vance further argues Iowa Code section 664A.8 is unconstitutionally vague, his due process rights were violated, there was insufficient evidence to extend the order, and the extension of the order violated the parties’ plea agreement.
