Christopher Cungtion appeals from a district court order denying his motion to dismiss for lack of jurisdiction and an order revoking his deferred judgment for the crime of willful injury causing bodily injury. Cungtion contends the district court did not have jurisdiction to enter a judgment of conviction after the enactment of legislation stripping the State of Iowa of criminal jurisdiction for crimes committed by or against Indians on the Meskwaki Settlement.
