Case No. 20-1004

Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board
v.
Stephen Warren Newport

The respondent contends (1) the Board failed to prove by a convincing preponderance of the evidence that he committed a criminal act, (2) the Board failed to prove by a convincing preponderance of the evidence that respondent committed sexual harassment, and (3) even if some of the acts constitute sexual harassment, the acts do not constitute a pattern of conduct that would warrant the Commission’s recommended sanction.
