Case No. 20-1568

State of Iowa
v.
Brent Alan Hauge

Brent Hauge, who was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over for speeding, appeals his conviction and sentence for possession of methamphetamine, a controlled substance, second offense, in violation of Iowa Code section 124.401(5) following a hybrid trial on the minutes. Hauge argues the district court erred when it denied his motion to suppress evidence resulting from an improper pat-down search under article I, section 8 of the Iowa Constitution.
